How to wear your energised Sri Chakra Yantra
Your auspicious time to wear it
Wear it for the first time on the day named in your dispatch email, between 6.30 and 7.30 in the morning. Bathe first, place the yantra on your pooja altar and offer your prayers, then wear it around your neck or your waist, on a red or black thread or a silver chain.
At a funeral
Take the yantra off before you attend a funeral.
Purify the amulet
Whenever the yantra has been taken off, or if it was worn at a funeral, dip it in raw milk or Ganga jal, show it incense, dhoop or attar (perfume), and then wear it again.
Keep the energy intact
You may repeat this energising once a week or once a month.

Pratyangira
Lion-faced and dark as a storm-night, she stands with matted hair spread wide, a trident, drum, noose and skull-cup in her hands, her mount a lion, her garment red. The tradition knows her as Atharvana Bhadrakali, the Mother in her guarding aspect, and links her closely with Narasimha and Sharabha — fury turned outward at whatever threatens the devotee. Her domain is the boundary: she is held to face abhichara, ill-will and unnamed hostility, receiving what is sent and letting it go no further. In this fire she is invoked with Chandika, the Mother of the Devi Mahatmya who slays Mahishasura and Shumbha, so that the Chandi's verses rest inside her mantra. Devotees come to her when they want shelter rather than retaliation.
