The Ritual and Its Weight

The Brahmi Homa is a fire offering to Brahmi, the Shakti of Brahma and the first of the Sapta Matrikas. Where Brahma orders the raw stuff of creation into form, Brahmi is that ordering power itself. Households turn to this rite when money comes but never settles — when income arrives in bursts, when dues pile faster than they clear, when the accounts feel shapeless. The tradition treats scattered wealth as a problem of order before it is a problem of quantity.

In the Brahmi Homam, priests kindle the fire, invoke the Devi with her kamandalu and akshamala, and offer ghee, grains and herbs through the prescribed count of ahutis. The intention placed in the fire is not sudden gain but structure: earnings that repeat, obligations that reduce in sequence, a home whose ledger holds steady. Your name, gotra and sankalpa are spoken at the outset, so the offering is made in your name from our Yagna Ashram while you watch the flames from wherever you are.

ॐ ब्राह्म्यै नमः Salutations to Brahmi, the creative and ordering Shakti — may she be honoured and present here.

Why Devotees Book This

Devotees bring the Brahmi Homa to the fire when their finances need order more than luck.

Steadiness in income

Offered by those whose earnings arrive in irregular bursts, seeking a rhythm they can plan around.

Relief from debt pressure

Traditionally performed to seek clarity and capacity in repaying dues, one obligation at a time.

Order in household finances

Sought when spending, saving and lending have lost their shape and the ledger no longer makes sense.

Obstacles in money matters

Booked when payments stall, dues remain uncollected or agreements keep slipping without cause.

Prudence in decisions

Devotees ask Brahmi for the discernment to judge an offer, a loan or a venture before committing.

Stability for the family

Offered on behalf of a whole household so that provision, not anxiety, becomes the daily condition.

Sacred timing

The most auspicious days for a Brahmi Homa

Our priests fix the muhurat for your Brahmi Homam from the panchanga and your birth details.

Shukla Paksha Panchami

The waxing fortnight suits rites of increase; Panchami is long held favourable for Matrika worship.

Pushya Nakshatra

The nakshatra of nourishment and accumulation, classically chosen for wealth-related offerings.

Rohini and Hasta

Rohini for growth that holds, Hasta for skilled and productive work — both favoured for this homa.

Navaratri

The nine nights, when the Sapta Matrikas are worshipped with particular force, are an especially fitting window.

You do not need to wait for one of these days. Whenever you book, our astrologers calculate the muhurta from your own birth chart — a date chosen for you personally, which tradition regards as more precise than a calendar date chosen for everyone. If you would like the homa on one of the days above, tell us at checkout and we will fix the muhurta within it.

What you receive

The sealing of the Brahmi Yantra

When your homa concludes, the yantra that stood in the fire is rolled and locked inside its silver amulet according to Agama vidhi — the practice by which the energies raised in a ritual are held within a consecrated object rather than dispersing. It is why a homa performed at our ashram can still reach a devotee ten thousand miles away: what the fire raised travels to you, sealed.

Personal sankalpa

Your name, gotra & nakshatra — for you and up to five family members.

Live telecast

Watch your own homa in real time from the ashram. Streamed openly on our YouTube channel by default — or request an unlisted telecast at checkout.

Free energised Brahmi Yantra, sealed in a silver amulet

Consecrated over three days — Jala (holy-water consecration with mantras), Prana (life force through pranayama & chants) and Jeeva Pratishta (awakened with 108 recitations & offerings) — then present through your homa, receiving the energies raised in the fire. Immediately afterwards it is rolled and sealed inside a silver amulet by Agamic rite, locking those energies within, and shipped to you with your prasadam.

Prasadam, shipped free

Sacred vibhuti, sandalwood powder & kumkum from your fire — delivered to any country.

Yantra Pujas inside our consecrated sanctum

48-Day Anushthan (optional) — daily pujas for 48 days — the 27 Nakshatras + 12 Rashis + 9 Planets — then sealed in a silver amulet of approximately 2–4 inches. Performed in our consecrated sanctum at the Yagna Ashram.

A note on sacred tradition

As per strict Agama vidhi, no videography is permitted inside the temple sanctum — this preserves the pure sacred energies and undisturbed divine focus of the ritual. The main homa is respectfully telecast live from outside the sanctum.

Homas are telecast openly on our YouTube channel so that devotees everywhere may witness the rituals — and because we believe you should be able to see our work before you trust us with yours. Your sankalpa names you and your family, so if you would rather your ceremony were not public, choose the private telecast option at checkout and it is streamed as an unlisted link, which does not appear on our channel or in search, though anyone who has the link can watch it and share it.

We state this plainly — transparency about what tradition forbids filming, and about what is public, is part of performing these rituals honestly.

After it arrives

How to wear your energised Brahmi Yantra

The energised yantra is carefully rolled and sealed inside a sacred silver amulet before shipping. Wearing it is itself a small ritual.

01

Your auspicious time to wear it

Wear it for the first time on the day named in your dispatch email, between 6.30 and 7.30 in the morning. Bathe first, place the yantra on your pooja altar and offer your prayers, then wear it around your neck or your waist, on a red or black thread or a silver chain.

02

At a funeral

Take the yantra off before you attend a funeral.

03

Purify the amulet

Whenever the yantra has been taken off, or if it was worn at a funeral, dip it in raw milk or Ganga jal, show it incense, dhoop or attar (perfume), and then wear it again.

04

Keep the energy intact

You may repeat this energising once a week or once a month.

Who is invoked

Brahmi

Brahmi, also called Brahmani, is the Shakti of Brahma and stands first among the Sapta Matrikas. She carries the same marks as the creator himself: four faces turned to the directions, the kamandalu of pure water, the akshamala counted bead by bead, and often a book or a ladle. The hamsa is her mount, and yellow is her colour. The Devi Mahatmya describes the Matrikas emerging from the great gods to join the Devi in battle, and Brahmi comes forth from Brahma seated in her swan-borne form. Where Brahma shapes formless matter into ordered creation, she is that ordering power at work. Devotees turn to her for measure, sequence and steadiness \u2014 for the mind that counts, arranges and keeps things in their proper place.

In this homa that grace is invoked through fire, with your own name and birth details spoken in the sankalpa.

Questions

Frequently asked

The Brahmi Homa is a Vedic fire ritual offered to Brahmi, the Shakti of Brahma and first among the Sapta Matrikas. She embodies the power that gives form and order to creation. In the Finance and Wealth tradition, the Brahmi Homam is offered when wealth exists but will not settle — irregular income, mounting dues, finances without structure. Its significance lies in addressing the shape of prosperity, not merely its size.
Devotees book the Brahmi Homa seeking steadiness of income, relief from the pressure of debt, order in household accounts, the removal of obstructions in money matters, and clarity in financial decisions. The tradition prescribes it for stability and discernment. It is a devotional offering made on your behalf, not a guarantee of any particular result.
Anyone whose finances feel unsteady may have it performed for them — salaried people with uncertain increments, business owners with cyclical revenue, families carrying loans, and those beginning a new venture who want a firm foundation. You do not perform it yourself. Qualified priests at our Yagna Ashram perform the Brahmi Homam in your name, using the sankalpa taken with your birth details.
Shukla Paksha days, especially Panchami, are favoured, as are Pushya, Rohini and Hasta nakshatras. Navaratri is a particularly fitting window for Matrika worship. Our priests read the panchanga alongside your nakshatra and lagna and confirm the muhurat with you before the rite is scheduled.
The priests begin with achamana, Ganapati puja and the sankalpa in your name and gotra. Agni is invoked in the kunda and the Devi installed in the kalasha. The prescribed count of ahutis follows with the Brahmi mantra. Samagri includes cow ghee, samidha wood, akshata, white flowers, navadhanya, honey, sesame and traditional herbs. The rite closes with purnahuti, aarti and prayers for the household. You watch the whole sequence on live telecast; prasadam and an energised Brahmi Yantra are couriered to you afterwards, anywhere in the world.
Book online from any country on this page. Share the names, birth stars and gotra of those the homa is for, along with your sankalpa. Our team confirms the muhurat and sends you the live telecast link. On the day, watch the fire from your home. Prasadam and the energised Brahmi Yantra are dispatched to your address at no shipping cost.
Our silver amulets are specially made for everyday wear: copper is added to the silver to make them more durable. With regular use, the amulet may turn black, reddish or brown as it is exposed to heat and reacts with the chemicals in cosmetics. Wipe it regularly with a soft, dry cotton cloth, keep perfume and cosmetics away from it, and clean it by rubbing it gently with a pinch of vibhuti (sacred ash). Every six months, polish it with cotton dipped in a silver cleaner, but never soak or dip the amulet itself. Never open it, as the energies of the yantra are sealed inside. If it is ever damaged, send it back to us, not to a jeweller.
