How to wear your energised Bhoo Varaha Yantra
Your auspicious time to wear it
Wear it for the first time on a Thursday, between 6.30 and 7.30 in the morning. Bathe first, place the yantra on your pooja altar and offer your prayers, then wear it around your neck or your waist, on a red or black thread or a silver chain.
At a funeral
Take the yantra off before you attend a funeral.
Purify the amulet
Whenever the yantra has been taken off, or if it was worn at a funeral, dip it in raw milk or Ganga jal, show it incense, dhoop or attar (perfume), and then wear it again.
Keep the energy intact
You may repeat this energising once a week or once a month.

Ghee and akshata, with the flowers, grains and dravyas proper to this deity, are offered in sequence with mantra. Each priest makes 108 of these offerings with the mula mantra of Bhoo Varaha — 108, 324 or 540 in all, by package.
Purnahuti
The final complete offering seals the sankalpa stated at the opening.

Bhoo Varaha
Bhoo Varaha is Vishnu’s boar incarnation, the form in which the earth herself, personified as Bhudevi, was raised from the dark waters of dissolution. Distinct from every other descent, he is defined by the single act of bearing the planet upon his curved tusk and by the permanent intimacy of the goddess who clings to him. The Vishnu Purana and the Varaha Purana present him not merely as a combatant against a demon but as the cosmic pillar that re-establishes continents, mountains and oceans in their proper stations. In temple sculpture his snout is lifted, one foot planted on the residual serpent, Bhudevi seated in the crook of his arm or balanced on the tusk. The svayambhu shrine at Srimushnam and the great relief at Mamallapuram preserve this iconography without admixture of other forms. He remains the deity whose body is the support of the soil itself.
