The Ritual and Its Weight

The Madhana Kameshwari Homa belongs to the Sri Vidya stream of worship, where the Devi is adored as Kameshwari — the mistress of desire in its pure and creative form. Madhana is the sweetness that draws one heart toward another. Kameshwari is the will that gives that sweetness a shape and a home. Together they name the power the tradition invokes when a marriage must be found, or a marriage must be healed. This is a Maha homa: a longer sequence, a fuller archana, a fire fed until the offerings are complete.

Marriage stalls for many reasons. A horoscope that keeps turning up mismatched. Talks that begin warmly and end without a word. A household where two people share a roof but no longer share their days. The madhana kameshwari homa does not argue with any of that. It places your name and your birth star into the fire and asks the Devi to soften what has hardened and to draw near what has stayed distant. You watch the flame live from wherever you are. The priests keep the sankalpa in your name from the first offering to the last.

ॐ ऐं क्लीं सौः मदनकामेश्वर्यै नमः Salutations to Madhana Kameshwari, goddess of loving union — may she grant wisdom, tenderness of heart and the fulfilment of righteous desire.

What a Maha Homa is

Not every fire ritual is performed at the same scale. A Maha Homa is our largest form — more priests, a longer fire, and the complete chanting sequence the rite prescribes rather than an abridged one. This is what that means in practice.

Priests5 or 10Chanting in unison, never in rotation
The fire burnsApprox. 2 hoursFrom the sankalpa to the final aarti
ChantedIn fullThe complete sequence the rite calls for, not an excerpt
TelecastEvery minuteNothing is performed off camera

A Maha Homa is never a group ceremony, the same as any homa we conduct. What the scale changes is the weight of the offering — ten trained voices holding one hymn for two hours is a different undertaking from one voice for an hour, and it is reserved for the intentions that warrant it.

Why devotees book this

Benefits of the Madhana Kameshwari Homa

The tradition prescribes the Madhana Kameshwari Homa for these intentions. Devotees bring them to the fire in their own words at the time of sankalpa.

For a life partner to be found

Offered when the search has gone on long enough — a prayer that the right alliance come into view and that you recognise it when it does.

For delays in marriage

Where proposals keep falling away without clear reason, this homa is performed to loosen the obstruction and let matters move.

For harmony between husband and wife

Invoked when affection has thinned into routine, asking the Devi to restore warmth, patience and easy speech at home.

For an alliance to reach its conclusion

Devotees book this when a match has been agreed but the horoscopes, the families or the dates refuse to settle.

For reconciliation after estrangement

Where a couple has drifted or parted in anger, the homa is offered as a prayer for softening and return.

For grace and attraction of bearing

Kameshwari is worshipped for saundarya — the dignity and charm that makes one welcome in the eyes of others.

Sacred timing

The most auspicious days for a Madhana Kameshwari Homa

Our panchanga scholars fix the muhurat for your Madhana Kameshwari Homa. These are the windows the tradition favours.

Fridays

The day of Shukra, karaka of marriage and conjugal life, and the classical day for all Devi worship connected to union.

Shukla Paksha Panchami and Tritiya

The waxing-moon tithis sacred to the Devi, chosen for rites where something is meant to grow and take form.

Purva Phalguni, Rohini and Uttara Phalguni nakshatras

Stars traditionally associated with marriage, affection and household well-being — favoured for this homa when they align with your chart.

Vasanta Panchami and the Navaratri nights

Seasons when Devi worship is at its fullest, and many devotees choose to have the madhana kameshwari homa performed in their name.

You do not need to wait for one of these days. Whenever you book, our astrologers calculate the muhurta from your own birth chart — a date chosen for you personally, which tradition regards as more precise than a calendar date chosen for everyone. If you would like the homa on one of the days above, tell us at checkout and we will fix the muhurta within it.

Every package

What you receive

The Madhana Kameshwari Yantra sealed inside the sacred silver amulet
An actual amulet received by a devotee. Your Madhana Kameshwari Yantra is a copper plate approx. 1–2 inches, rolled and sealed inside a silver amulet approx. 2–4 inches. Sizes are approximate and the amulet's design varies between supplier batches — shape, metal and consecration remain the same.

The sealing of the Madhana Kameshwari Yantra

The Madhana Kameshwari Yantra is consecrated over three days — Jala (holy-water consecration with mantras), Prana (life force through pranayama & chants) and Jeeva Pratishta (awakened with 108 recitations & offerings) — then present through your homa, receiving the energies raised in the fire. When your homa concludes, it is rolled and locked inside its silver amulet according to Agama vidhi — the practice by which those energies are held within a consecrated object rather than dispersing. It is why a homa performed at our ashram can still reach a devotee ten thousand miles away: what the fire raised travels to you, sealed.

This is what arrives at your door, at no extra cost, with your prasadam.

Personal sankalpa

Your name, gotra & nakshatra — and up to four family members if you wish. No one else is named.

Who is invoked

Kameshwari

In the Sri Vidya stream, the Devi seated beside Kameshwara in the bindu of the Sri Chakra is adored as Kameshwari, the mistress of desire in its pure and creative form. She is red as the rising sun, holding the sugarcane bow, the five flower arrows, the noose and the goad

ame senyalded. The noose is attachment, the goad is restraint; the bow and arrows are the sweetness by which one heart is drawn toward another. The Lalita Sahasranama names her Kameshwari and Kameshvara-prana-nadi, the very life-breath of her lord. Madana names that honeyed pull, and she governs it. Devotees turn to this form when union is at stake

ame senyalded when a match must be found, when affection has grown cold, when what should draw near stays distant.

In this homa that grace is invoked through fire, with your own name and birth details spoken in the sankalpa.

Questions

Frequently asked

The Madhana Kameshwari Homa, or Madhana Kameshwari Homam, is a Vedic fire ritual addressed to Madhana Kameshwari, the form of the Devi worshipped in the Sri Vidya tradition as the presiding power of loving union. Ghee, sacred woods and herbs dear to the Devi are offered into the fire as the priests chant, with a sankalpa taken in your name, gotra and birth star. Its significance is direct: it is the rite householders turn to when a marriage must be found, hastened or healed.
The tradition prescribes it for finding a suitable life partner, for clearing delays that keep alliances from concluding, for harmony and warmth between husband and wife, for reconciliation after estrangement, and for the grace of bearing that Kameshwari is worshipped to bestow. These are the intentions the scriptures assign to the rite; the outcome rests with the Devi and with your own effort.
Unmarried men and women whose marriage has been long in coming, parents praying for a son's or daughter's alliance, couples wishing to restore closeness, and those whose charts show Venus or the seventh house under strain. You do not perform it yourself — qualified priests perform it on your behalf at our Yagna Ashram, with your sankalpa read at the fire. Anyone may book, from any country.
The Madhana Kameshwari Homa is performed by our priests at the Yagna Ashram, beginning with achamana, Ganapati puja and punyahavachana, then the sankalpa in your name and birth star. Kalasha sthapana and Devi avahana follow, with shodashopachara puja and archana. The homa kunda is prepared, Agni is kindled, and the ahutis are offered with mantra, every priest making their own offerings: ghee, samidha, lotus and other flowers, honey, kumkum, akshata, madhuparka and herbs dear to the Devi. Purnahuti, aarti and mantra pushpanjali close the rite. You watch it all on live telecast.
You can book the Madhana Kameshwari Homa with five or ten priests. Each package is the complete homa, with the same ritual stages and the same kinds of offerings, performed privately for you and up to four family members and never combined with another booking. What changes is the number of priests: every priest makes their own ahutis, the offerings into the fire, and all of them perform at the same time, in one ceremony. An ahuti count is a count of these offerings, not a japa count, which measures repetitions of a mantra. Each priest makes 216 ahutis: 1,080 in all with five priests and 2,160 with ten, in approximately 2 hours. A larger package adds priests and offerings, not a second ceremony. Choose the scale that fits your intention, preference and budget; the five-priest homa is complete in itself, and no package guarantees a particular result.
Yes. Our listed Madhana Kameshwari Homa packages specify standard ahuti counts and priest numbers. If your astrologer has prescribed a different count, we can arrange a customised homa following review by our priests. Please share your requirements with our Devotee Relationship Team on +91 96295 55442. The team will confirm the ahuti count, number of priests, approximate duration and total price before you book. Your customised homa remains a private ceremony dedicated to your sankalpa, never combined with other customers' bookings.
Approximately two hours, whichever package you choose: the priests perform together and make their offerings at the same time, so ten priests do not lengthen the ceremony. Your muhurta, the date and time, is confirmed by email within 24–48 working hours of booking, and the live telecast link arrives the day before, so you can follow every stage wherever you are.
You do not need to wait for an auspicious day. Whenever you book, our astrologers calculate the muhurta from your own birth chart — a date chosen for you personally, which tradition regards as more precise than a calendar date chosen for everyone. If you would prefer one of the days traditionally sacred to Kameshwari — a Friday, Tritiya or Panchami in the bright fortnight, Purva Phalguni, Rohini or Uttara Phalguni nakshatra, Vasanta Panchami, or a night of Navaratri — tell us in the notes at checkout and we will fix the muhurta within it. If a wedding or engagement date is set, mention it too, and our priests will recommend a muhurta that sits well before it. Our Panchang shows the tithi and nakshatra for any date.
Yes. What directs a homa is its sankalpa: the solemn resolve the priest makes before the fire is kindled, stating who the homa is for and what it is offered for. The deity invoked and the ritual remain the same; the purpose is yours, as your astrologer has advised it. So if you have been advised the Madhana Kameshwari Homa for a reason other than those on this page, write that purpose in your own words in the “Your sankalpa” box on the birth-details page, straight after payment, and the priest will state it in the sankalpa with your name, gotra and nakshatra. If the advice also names a date, a number of ahutis or a number of priests, mention it in the notes at checkout, or call our Devotee Relationship Team on +91 96295 55442 before you book.
Book the Madhana Kameshwari Homa online on this page, from India or from any other country; devotees living abroad book it the same way, and prices are shown in your currency. Choose five or ten priests, and straight after payment add your name, gotra if you know it and your birth star, with your prayer for the homa in the “Your sankalpa” box. Your muhurta is confirmed by email within 24–48 working hours and the live telecast link arrives the day before, so you can watch the entire homa live, wherever you are. Afterwards, prasadam and your energised Madhana Kameshwari Yantra are couriered to you anywhere in the world, free of shipping cost.
Every Madhana Kameshwari Homa package includes the energised Madhana Kameshwari Yantra: a copper plate of about 1–2 inches, consecrated over three days and present in the fire through your homa. It is then rolled and sealed inside a silver amulet of about 2–4 inches, made to be worn, and couriered to you with your prasadam, free of shipping cost, usually reaching you in 1–2 weeks within India and 2–4 weeks internationally from the homa’s completion; the tracking email gives your personal time to wear it.
Our silver amulets are specially made for everyday wear: copper is added to the silver to make them more durable. With regular use, the amulet may turn black, reddish or brown as it is exposed to heat and reacts with the chemicals in cosmetics. Wipe it regularly with a soft, dry cotton cloth, keep perfume and cosmetics away from it, and clean it by rubbing it gently with a pinch of vibhuti (sacred ash). Every six months, polish it with cotton dipped in a silver cleaner, but never soak or dip the amulet itself. Never open it, as the energies of the yantra are sealed inside. If it is ever damaged, send it back to us, not to a jeweller.

Your ritual date is an auspicious muhurta calculated personally for you — not a slot on a rota. Once it is confirmed, rescheduling from the customer's side is not available, and cancellation does not carry a refund. If we ever have to move your ritual for unforeseen reasons at the ashram, we will inform you immediately and provide a fresh auspicious date at no cost — and your telecast, recording, prasadam and yantra remain exactly as promised.

Read the full refund and cancellation policy.
