The Ritual and Its Weight

The Madhana Kameshwari Homa belongs to the Sri Vidya stream of worship, where the Devi is adored as Kameshwari — the mistress of desire in its pure and creative form. Madhana is the sweetness that draws one heart toward another. Kameshwari is the will that gives that sweetness a shape and a home. Together they name the power the tradition invokes when a marriage must be found, or a marriage must be healed. This is a Maha homa: a longer sequence, a fuller archana, a fire fed until the offerings are complete.

Marriage stalls for many reasons. A horoscope that keeps turning up mismatched. Talks that begin warmly and end without a word. A household where two people share a roof but no longer share their days. The madhana kameshwari homam does not argue with any of that. It places your name and your birth star into the fire and asks the Devi to soften what has hardened and to draw near what has stayed distant. You watch the flame live from wherever you are. The priests keep the sankalpa in your name from the first offering to the last.

ॐ ऐं क्लीं सौः मदनकामेश्वर्यै नमः Salutations to Madhana Kameshwari, goddess of loving union — may she grant wisdom, tenderness of heart and the fulfilment of righteous desire.

What a Maha Homa is

Not every fire ritual is performed at the same scale. A Maha Homa is our largest form — more priests, a longer fire, and the complete chanting sequence the rite prescribes rather than an abridged one. This is what that means in practice.

Priests5 or 10Chanting in unison, never in rotation

TelecastEvery minuteNothing is performed off camera

A Maha Homa is performed for one devotee and their named family, the same as any homa we conduct. What the scale changes is the weight of the offering — ten trained voices holding one hymn for two hours is a different undertaking from one voice for an hour, and it is reserved for the intentions that warrant it.

Why Devotees Book This

The tradition prescribes the Madhana Kameshwari Homa for these intentions. Devotees bring them to the fire in their own words at the time of sankalpa.

For a life partner to be found

Offered when the search has gone on long enough — a prayer that the right alliance come into view and that you recognise it when it does.

For delays in marriage

Where proposals keep falling away without clear reason, this homa is performed to loosen the obstruction and let matters move.

For harmony between husband and wife

Invoked when affection has thinned into routine, asking the Devi to restore warmth, patience and easy speech at home.

For an alliance to reach its conclusion

Devotees book this when a match has been agreed but the horoscopes, the families or the dates refuse to settle.

For reconciliation after estrangement

Where a couple has drifted or parted in anger, the homa is offered as a prayer for softening and return.

For grace and attraction of bearing

Kameshwari is worshipped for saundarya — the dignity and charm that makes one welcome in the eyes of others.

Sacred timing

The most auspicious days for a Madhana Kameshwari Homa

Our panchanga scholars fix the muhurat for your Madhana Kameshwari Homa. These are the windows the tradition favours.

Fridays

The day of Shukra, karaka of marriage and conjugal life, and the classical day for all Devi worship connected to union.

Shukla Paksha Panchami and Tritiya

The waxing-moon tithis sacred to the Devi, chosen for rites where something is meant to grow and take form.

Purva Phalguni, Rohini and Uttara Phalguni nakshatras

Stars traditionally associated with marriage, affection and household well-being — favoured for this homa when they align with your chart.

Vasanta Panchami and the Navaratri nights

Seasons when Devi worship is at its fullest, and many devotees choose to have the madhana kameshwari homam performed in their name.

You do not need to wait for one of these days. Whenever you book, our astrologers calculate the muhurta from your own birth chart — a date chosen for you personally, which tradition regards as more precise than a calendar date chosen for everyone. If you would like the homa on one of the days above, tell us at checkout and we will fix the muhurta within it.

What you receive

The Madhana Kameshwari Yantra sealed inside the sacred silver amulet
An actual amulet received by a devotee. Your Madhana Kameshwari Yantra is a copper plate approx. 1–2 inches, rolled and sealed inside a silver amulet approx. 2–4 inches. Sizes are approximate and the amulet's design varies between supplier batches — shape, metal and consecration remain the same.

The sealing of the Madhana Kameshwari Yantra

When your homa concludes, the yantra that stood in the fire is rolled and locked inside its silver amulet according to Agama vidhi — the practice by which the energies raised in a ritual are held within a consecrated object rather than dispersing. It is why a homa performed at our ashram can still reach a devotee ten thousand miles away: what the fire raised travels to you, sealed.

This is what arrives at your door, at no extra cost, with your prasadam.

Personal sankalpa

Your name, gotra & nakshatra — for you and up to five family members.

Live telecast

Consecrated over three days — Jala (holy-water consecration with mantras), Prana (life force through pranayama & chants) and Jeeva Pratishta (awakened with 108 recitations & offerings) — then present through your homa, receiving the energies raised in the fire. Immediately afterwards it is rolled and sealed inside a silver amulet by Agamic rite, locking those energies within, and shipped to you with your prasadam.

After it arrives

How to wear your energised Madhana Kameshwari Yantra

The energised yantra is carefully rolled and sealed inside a sacred silver amulet before shipping. Wearing it is itself a small ritual.

01

Your auspicious time to wear it

Wear it for the first time on a Friday, between 6.30 and 7.30 in the morning. Bathe first, place the yantra on your pooja altar and offer your prayers, then wear it around your neck or your waist, on a red or black thread or a silver chain.

02

At a funeral

Take the yantra off before you attend a funeral.

03

Purify the amulet

Whenever the yantra has been taken off, or if it was worn at a funeral, dip it in raw milk or Ganga jal, show it incense, dhoop or attar (perfume), and then wear it again.

04

Keep the energy intact

You may repeat this energising once a week or once a month.

Who is invoked

Kameshwari

In the Sri Vidya stream, the Devi seated beside Kameshwara in the bindu of the Sri Chakra is adored as Kameshwari, the mistress of desire in its pure and creative form. She is red as the rising sun, holding the sugarcane bow, the five flower arrows, the noose and the goad

ame senyalded. The noose is attachment, the goad is restraint; the bow and arrows are the sweetness by which one heart is drawn toward another. The Lalita Sahasranama names her Kameshwari and Kameshvara-prana-nadi, the very life-breath of her lord. Madana names that honeyed pull, and she governs it. Devotees turn to this form when union is at stake

ame senyalded when a match must be found, when affection has grown cold, when what should draw near stays distant.

In this homa that grace is invoked through fire, with your own name and birth details spoken in the sankalpa.

Questions

Frequently asked

It is a Maha-tier Vedic fire ritual addressed to Madhana Kameshwari, the form of the Devi worshipped in the Sri Vidya tradition as the presiding power of loving union. Ghee, sacred woods and Devi-related herbs are offered into the fire while her mantra is chanted with a sankalpa taken in your name, gotra and birth star. Its significance in Love and Marriage worship is direct: it is the rite householders turn to when a marriage must be found, hastened or healed.
The tradition prescribes it for finding a suitable life partner, for clearing delays that keep alliances from concluding, for harmony and warmth between husband and wife, for reconciliation after estrangement, and for the grace of bearing that Kameshwari is worshipped to bestow. These are the intentions the scriptures assign to the rite; the outcome rests with the Devi and with your own effort.
Unmarried men and women whose marriage has been long in coming, parents praying for a son's or daughter's alliance, couples wishing to restore closeness, and those whose charts show Venus or the seventh house under strain. You do not perform it yourself — qualified priests perform it on your behalf at our Yagna Ashram, with your sankalpa read at the fire. Anyone may book, from any country.
Fridays are foremost, being the day of Shukra. Shukla Paksha tithis such as Tritiya and Panchami are favoured, as are Purva Phalguni, Uttara Phalguni and Rohini nakshatras. Navaratri and Vasanta Panchami are especially sought. Once you book, our panchanga scholars set the muhurat against your birth details and confirm the date and time to you in advance.
The priests begin with achamana, Ganapati puja and punyahavachana, then take the sankalpa in your name and birth star. Kalasha sthapana and Devi avahana follow, with shodashopachara puja and Lalita archana. The homa kunda is prepared, Agni invoked, and the Madhana Kameshwari mantra offered with ghee, samidha, lotus and other flowers, honey, kumkum, akshata, madhuparka and Devi-related herbs. Purnahuti, aarti and mantra pushpanjali close the rite. You watch the whole sequence on live telecast; prasadam and an energised Madhana Kameshwari Yantra are couriered to you afterwards, worldwide, free.
Book online from this page in a few minutes. Give your name, gotra if you know it, birth details and your intention. Our team confirms the muhurat and sends you the link for the live telecast. On the day, the priests perform the madhana kameshwari homam in your name at our Yagna Ashram while you watch. Prasadam and the energised Madhana Kameshwari Yantra reach your address by courier, wherever in the world you live.
Our silver amulets are specially made for everyday wear: copper is added to the silver to make them more durable. With regular use, the amulet may turn black, reddish or brown as it is exposed to heat and reacts with the chemicals in cosmetics. Wipe it regularly with a soft, dry cotton cloth, keep perfume and cosmetics away from it, and clean it by rubbing it gently with a pinch of vibhuti (sacred ash). Every six months, polish it with cotton dipped in a silver cleaner, but never soak or dip the amulet itself. Never open it, as the energies of the yantra are sealed inside. If it is ever damaged, send it back to us, not to a jeweller.
