The most auspicious days for a Bharani Nakshatra Homa
Nakshatra homas are timed to the Moon. Our panchanga desk fixes the muhurat for your homa and confirms the date and streaming time to you.
Each lunar month the Moon transits Bharani for roughly a day. This is the classical window for the rite, most auspicious in the morning hours.

The Bharani Nakshatra Yantra is consecrated over three days — Jala (holy-water consecration with mantras), Prana (life force through pranayama & chants) and Jeeva Pratishta (awakened with 108 recitations & offerings) — then present through your homa, receiving the energies raised in the fire. When your homa concludes, it is rolled and locked inside its silver amulet according to Agama vidhi — the practice by which those energies are held within a consecrated object rather than dispersing. A note on sacred tradition

Homas are telecast openly on our YouTube channel so that devotees everywhere may witness the rituals — and because we believe you should be able to see our work before you trust us with yours. Your sankalpa names you and any family members you add, so if you would rather your ceremony were not public, choose the private telecast option at checkout and it is streamed as an unlisted link, which does not appear on our channel or in search, though anyone who has the link can watch it and share it.
We state this plainly — transparency about what tradition forbids filming, and about what is public, is part of performing these rituals honestly.
How to wear your energised Bharani Nakshatra Yantra
Your auspicious time to wear it
Wear it for the first time on the day named in your dispatch email, between 6.30 and 7.30 in the morning. Bathe first, place the yantra on your pooja altar and offer your prayers, then wear it around your neck or your waist, on a red or black thread or a silver chain.
At a funeral
Take the yantra off before you attend a funeral.
Purify the amulet
Whenever the yantra has been taken off, or if it was worn at a funeral, dip it in raw milk or Ganga jal, show it incense, dhoop or attar (perfume), and then wear it again.
Keep the energy intact
You may repeat this energising once a week or once a month.

Ganapati Puja
The customary invocation to Ganapati, clearing obstacles before the deity is approached.
Agni Pratishtha
The fire is consecrated in the homa kunda and Agni invoked as the carrier of every offering that follows.
Yama Avahana
The mula mantra of Yama is chanted, inviting the deity's presence into the fire — by one, three or five priests as your package sets.
Ahuti
Ghee and akshata, with the flowers, grains and dravyas proper to this deity, are offered in sequence with mantra. Each priest makes 108 of these offerings with the mula mantra of Yama — 108, 324 or 540 in all, by package.
Purnahuti
The final complete offering seals the sankalpa stated at the opening.

Yama
Lord of dharma and of every boundary a life must cross, Yama presides over the star Bharani. The Vedas know him as the first mortal to walk the path of death and so the one who marks that road for all who follow; the Rig Veda addresses him as son of Vivasvan, the Sun, and brother of Yami. He is shown dark of form, seated on a buffalo, holding a noose and a staff, with the record of deeds kept beside him. Devotees turn to him not in fear but for order — he weighs actions without favour, holds each soul to its word, and governs endings, thresholds and the discipline that carries an undertaking through to completion. Where restraint, truthfulness and right timing are sought, his name is spoken.
