The Lakshmi Ganapathi Homa is a Vedic fire offering made to Ganapathi in the form where Lakshmi is seated with him — the remover of obstacles and the giver of abundance in one seat. How to wear your energised Lakshmi Ganapathi Yantra
Your auspicious time to wear it
Wear it for the first time on a Friday, between 6.30 and 7.30 in the morning. Bathe first, place the yantra on your pooja altar and offer your prayers, then wear it around your neck or your waist, on a red or black thread or a silver chain.
At a funeral
Take the yantra off before you attend a funeral.
Purify the amulet
Whenever the yantra has been taken off, or if it was worn at a funeral, dip it in raw milk or Ganga jal, show it incense, dhoop or attar (perfume), and then wear it again.
Keep the energy intact
You may repeat this energising once a week or once a month.

Ahuti
Ghee and akshata, with the flowers, grains and dravyas proper to this deity, are offered in sequence with mantra. Each priest makes 108 of these offerings with the mula mantra of Lakshmi Ganapathi — 108, 324 or 540 in all, by package.
Purnahuti
The final complete offering seals the sankalpa stated at the opening.

Lakshmi Ganapathi
Lakshmi Ganapathi is the manifestation of the elephant-headed deity addressed in conjunction with Śrī, the principle of auspicious amplitude. He is the twelfth of the thirty-two forms whose dhyana verses are collected in the Sritattvanidhi. There he is fair-complexioned and eight-armed, holding the pomegranate, the sword, the kalpalatā or wish-fulfilling creeper, the goad, the parrot, the noose and the jewel-pot, with the eighth hand granting boons, and he embraces his two consorts, Siddhi and Buddhi. His mantra joins śrīṃ, the seed of Lakshmi, to gaṃ, the seed of Ganesha. Tradition locates this form at the point where an obstruction is felt specifically in the sphere of livelihood, stores and the steady movement of means. He is the aspect addressed when the question before the household or the merchant is one of sustained provision rather than of travel, learning or battle.
