A note on sacred tradition
As per strict Agama vidhi, no videography is permitted inside the temple sanctum — this preserves the pure sacred energies and undisturbed divine focus of the ritual. The main homa is respectfully telecast live from outside the sanctum.

Lakshmi Narasimha
Half man, half lion, He is the fourth avatara of Vishnu, risen from a pillar at twilight to keep a devotee's word intact. Iconography shows a golden mane, wide eyes, and hands that hold conch and discus, while Lakshmi is seated upon His left thigh, one arm resting across Him. This seated pair is the Lakshmi Narasimha form worshipped at Ahobilam and across the south. The Narasimha Purana and the Bhagavata tell of Prahlada, whose trust drew the Lord out of the impossible. Tradition holds Him as the guardian of oaths, of the wrongly accused, and of those whose protection has failed elsewhere; with Lakshmi beside Him His heat is tempered into steadiness, and devotees approach Him for courage and settled mind rather than for wrath.
