The Shatru Samhara Subramanya Trishati Homa is a Maha-tier fire rite in which the Subramanya Trishati — three hundred names of Lord Skanda — is offered syllable by syllable into a consecrated agni. Each name is spoken with an oblation, so the whole stotra becomes smoke and light rather than only speech. Shatru samhara does not mean harm sent outward. An archana is worship by name — one offering for each name recited. Rudra is Shiva as invoked by the Sri Rudram, the Yajurveda hymn at the heart of every Rudra rite. The Subramanya Yantra is consecrated over three days — Jala (holy-water consecration with mantras), Prana (life force through pranayama & chants) and Jeeva Pratishta (awakened with 108 recitations & offerings) — then present through your homa, receiving the energies raised in the fire. When your homa concludes, it is rolled and locked inside its silver amulet according to Agama vidhi — the practice by which those energies are held within a consecrated object rather than dispersing. How to wear your energised Subramanya Yantra
Your auspicious time to wear it
Wear it for the first time on a Tuesday, between 6.30 and 7.30 in the morning. Bathe first, place the yantra on your pooja altar and offer your prayers, then wear it around your neck or your waist, on a red or black thread or a silver chain.
At a funeral
Take the yantra off before you attend a funeral.
Purify the amulet
Whenever the yantra has been taken off, or if it was worn at a funeral, dip it in raw milk or Ganga jal, show it incense, dhoop or attar (perfume), and then wear it again.
Keep the energy intact
You may repeat this energising once a week or once a month.

Purnahuti
The final complete offering seals the sankalpa stated at the opening.

Subramanya
Son of Shiva and Parvati, born of six sparks and raised as one six-faced child, he is the young commander the devas call when their own strength fails. He stands with the vel, the spear of penetrating discernment given by his mother, and rides the peacock that holds the serpent underfoot. Skanda, Kartikeya, Murugan, Devasenapati — the Skanda Purana and the Tamil devotional tradition know him as the general of the celestial army and the slayer of Surapadma and Taraka. Devotees turn to this form when opposition has become personal rather than abstract: he is held to be swift, unbought, and willing to go first. His three hundred names are recited as protection. Vedic tradition also links him to Sanatkumara, the eternal youth who teaches.
