The Sri Chakra is the yantra of Lalita Tripura Sundari — nine interlocking triangles read as the Devi’s own form rather than as a picture of it. To worship the Sri Chakra is not to worship an object that represents her; in the Sri Vidya tradition it is to worship her, in the shape the tradition says she takes.

Ganapathi Puja comes first, to remove obstruction from the rite and from your path, and then your sankalpa is declared with your name, gotra and intention. The guardians of the eight directions are invoked in the Ashtadikbalagar Pratishta, the Sri Chakra is set in its place, and Goddess Lalita is invited into the chakra with mantra, the central act of the puja. Kumkum, flowers and fruit are offered through the chakra's enclosures, each with its own mantra; naivedyam follows, and camphor aarti closes the rite. You watch it all on live telecast.
