Homas for the path that will not open.
When effort meets the same wall again and again — a file that will not move, a deal that stalls at the signature, a plan that opens and then freezes — the house performs the obstruction-removal homas at its Yagna Ashram and telecasts each rite live to the devotee. These are rites offered for clearance of what blocks the way. The choice among them turns on how long the delay has run, where it sits, and which deity the tradition places before that kind of stop.
Devotees book these for
- A contract that reaches the table and then stalls without explanation
- A job search that yields interviews but no offer, month after month
- Files that sit unsigned on a desk while deadlines pass
- A business expansion announced and then endlessly deferred
- Marriage talks that open and close without a clear reason
- A long-pending application that will not move through the office
- Work that begins well and then freezes without visible cause
- A wish held for years that meets a fresh hurdle each time it nears ripening

Booking more than one is customary, not excessive. Tradition often places Ganapathi Homa first — to clear the immediate obstruction from the path of a venture — and then a more pointed rite once the nature of the stall is plain: Vancha Kalpa Ganapathi when a single wish has refused to ripen, Kshipra Ganapathi when the delay has already run long, or Karya Siddhi Homa when the work itself must be carried through after the path is opened. The order follows the blockage, not a fixed package.
The most auspicious days for obstruction-removal rituals
Certain days are held especially potent for the deities who stand before a blocked path.
The monthly Chaturthi observed for Ganapathi, when obstacles are traditionally placed before him for clearance.
The annual festival of Ganapathi, long associated with the removal of hindrances at the start of work and ventures.
When Chaturthi falls on a Tuesday; regarded as especially pointed for delays that have grown stubborn.
Held for Hanuman and certain Bhairava forms, and often chosen when stalled work or pending effort is the concern.
Associated with the Bhairava forms invoked when a stop feels immovable and ordinary effort has already been spent.
A devotee need not wait for one of these days. The muhurta is calculated from her own birth chart, and the rite may be performed on any day the chart permits.
About obstruction removal homas

Why a homa is performed for a path that will not open
In the Vedic understanding, an obstruction is not only a practical delay. It may sit in the timing of a venture, in the field of work, in a wish that will not ripen, or in a pattern of near-completion that keeps falling short. The obstruction-removal homas are performed so that the deity traditionally placed before that kind of stop is invoked with fire, mantra and offering — Ganapathi at the threshold of a new undertaking, Vancha Kalpa Ganapathi when a desire has met long refusal, Kshipra Ganapathi when pending work must be pressed forward, Karya Siddhi Hanuman when the labour itself has frozen mid-course.
The house does not treat these rites as interchangeable. A standard Ganapathi Homa is the ordinary first step before a launch or deal; the Maha forms are taken up when the delay has already run long, or when the same hurdle has returned after earlier effort. Other deities in this category — Bhairava forms, Dhumavati, the Navadurgas invoked for stalled progress — answer different shapes of blockage, and the pandits match the rite to the situation rather than to a general wish for movement.
Each homa is performed at the Yagna Ashram on the muhurta fixed for the devotee, and telecast live so she may sit with the rite as it is offered. What follows in worldly affairs remains in the hands of timing, effort and circumstance; the rite is performed for clearance.
